Meet our magnificent lesson horses at Horse Feathers Farm. Each of our five equine partners is carefully selected and trained to provide a safe and enjoyable riding experience for all levels. From gentle ponies for beginners to spirited thoroughbreds for advanced riders, our horses are the heart of our school.

Well-rounded in all disciplines, this mare loves children and has the patience of a saint! This mare has been there done that from doing first rides to packing kids around their first events. If we could clone this mare we would as she is absolutely perfect!
Teddy
Teddy Bear is perfect for the littles. He loves to be groomed and fussed over. He is the perfect mount for teaching a basic skill set and building confidence. This old man has personality spilling out of him in the best way possible and loves to be loved!
Breeze
Athletic and handsome with personality to match! Breeze is incredibly well versed in showjumping and dipped his feet into the eventing scene once upon a time. He loves long walks on the beach and eating though he is always more than happy when he gets to jump!
Sissy
Sissy is our resident retiree. She has had many careers over the years : race horse, polo, eventing. However, she now lives out her days eating and being pretty!
Joey
Our newest horse, Joey is an 8 year old Frisian Thoroughbred cross. She is currently working on refining her dressage and jump training, but mainly dressage. She is Dawns personal horse but is often used in advanced lessons.
